“Hello” Lord Haw Haw – Born 24 April 1906

William Joyce (24 April 1906 – 3 January 1946), nicknamed Lord Haw-Haw, was an Irish-American fascist politician and Nazi propaganda broadcaster to the United Kingdom during the Second World War. He was well known for his broadcasts on the “Germany calling” Nazi Radio programme, which resulted in him being hanged for treason by the British as a result of his wartime activities.
