“Goodbye” Bela Bartok – Died 26 September 1945
Béla Viktor János Bartók (March 25, 1881 – September 26, 1945) was a Hungarian composer and pianist. Among his most notable works were the opera Bluebeard’s Castle, and the ballets The Wooden Prince and The Miraculous Mandarin. He was also noted for collecting and arranging folk music.
