“Hello” Warren Mitchell Born 14 January 1926

Warren Mitchell (born Warren Misell 14 January 1926 – 14 November 2015) is an English actor who rose to initial prominence in the role of bigoted cockney Alf Garnett in the BBC television sitcom Till Death Us Do Part (1965–75), and its sequels Till Death… (ATV, 1981) and In Sickness and in Health (BBC, 1985–92), all of which were written by Johnny Speight. He holds both British and Australian citizenship and has also had success on stage.
