Mary Jane West (August 17, 1893 – November 22, 1980), better known as Mae West, was an American actress, singer and sex symbol.

She made a name for herself  on the stage in New York before moving to Hollywood to become an actress and writer in the motion picture industry. Her films include Night After Night , She Done Him Wrong, I’m No Angel, Belle Of The Nineties and Klondike Annie.

When her film career ended, she continued to perform on stage, radio and television
